Signs Now franchise advisory board appoints two new members
SARASOTA, Fla. January, 2007 - Signs Now, A Division of Allegra Network LLC, recently held elections for new seats for the company’s Franchise Advisory Board (FAB), and has named Chuck Achterberg and Dan Phillips as its two newest members. Both members will serve on the FAB until 2010.
The FAB is comprised of seven elected franchisee representatives and one appointed representative from Signs Now headquarters. The FAB consists of four regions: Northeast, Southeast, Central and Midwest.
Chuck Achterberg, owner of the Signs Now franchise in Branson, Missouri, will represent the Midwest region. Achterberg, and his wife Joyce, purchased their Signs Now franchise in 2002. Under their ownership, sales have more than tripled and the store has undergone a vast expansion.
Dan Phillips, owner of the Signs Now franchise in Evansville, Ind., will represent the Northeast region. Although Phillips has owned the store since 1996, he began as an employee in 1992. Since acquiring the franchise, Phillips has continued to grow his business and relocated to a new store in 2005, gaining an extra 2400 square feet of retail and production space.
The FAB was established to provide a forum for the discussion of company plans, programs and concerns with its franchise owners. The objectives of the FAB include the participation in initial development of programs; feedback on purpose, goals and direction of programs; the insurance of accountability; to increase participation of all franchise owners in company programs; and improved feedback on the effectiveness of company programs.
